As an Infrastructure Technician I, you will be responsible for skilled infrastructure and structured cabling work, including installation, maintenance, and repairs. You will work with low-voltage category cabling, fiber optics, and communication systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's communication infrastructure. Perform installation, service, and maintenance of low-voltage cabling systems, including Category 3, 5, 6, and fiber optic cables.
Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure issues, implementing necessary repairs.
Upgrade and enhance cabling systems to improve functionality and meet client requirements.
Coordinate with NACS Operations team members to ensure efficient project completion and timely response to work orders.
Maintain accurate documentation and records, including time reporting, work order progress, and client SLAs.
Request and manage equipment and supplies to maintain inventory levels and ensure availability.
Respond to emergency situations, providing timely resolution to client concerns and meeting SLAs.
Transport tools, equipment, and supplies to client sites, ensuring the availability of required materials.
Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Achieve performance targets and demonstrate a results-focused approach, contributing to the organization's success.
