Own and support a multi-platform infrastructure environment including Windows, Linux, IBM i (AS400), virtualization, storage (SAN/NAS), and cloud/hosted systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, performance, and connectivity issues across servers, networks, and endpoints
Manage and monitor backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and high availability systems (failover, replication)
Collaborate with networking, hardware, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure system operations
Execute patching, upgrades, and system lifecycle management across diverse platforms and environments
Drive automation initiatives using tools like Ansible, scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python), and internal tooling to reduce manual effort
Evaluate and implement modern tools, monitoring solutions, and AI-assisted technologies to improve efficiency and performance
Maintain clear and structured technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Support a retail-driven environment, including occasional travel to stores and data centers across the NY tri-state area
Act as a hands-on problem solver and self-starter, working in a fast-paced environment with ownership, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset
