Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid role based in Oak Brook, IL.

Team members are expected to work in the office 1 to 2 days per week, with the remainder of the time remote. This role also includes occasional onsite visits to client locations within the Chicagoland area and Northern Illinois. Out-of-state travel is rare.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be on the front lines solving real-world technical issues across multiple client environments. This is not a ticket-routing role. You will be expected to troubleshoot, take ownership, and resolve issues efficiently.

You will work across Microsoft and Google environments, networks, endpoints, and cloud systems while delivering a high level of service to our clients.

This role is best suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership of issues, and enjoy solving a high volume of technical problems each day.


What You’ll Do


  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user and system issues across multiple client environments
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 including Exchange, licensing, and user management
  • Support Google Workspace environments including user and admin management
  • Manage Active Directory including users, groups, permissions, and basic GPOs
  • Manage and support endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues including DNS, DHCP, and connectivity
  • Provide remote support using industry standard MSP tools such as NinjaOne or similar
  • Work within security platforms such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Huntress, or similar
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and work performed using industry standard tools
  • Document work clearly and keep tickets updated with accurate notes
  • Collaborate with internal team members on escalations and complex issues
  • Follow security best practices across all client environments


What We’re Looking For


  • Experience working in an MSP environment is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Experience supporting Google Workspace environments
  • Experience managing devices with Microsoft Intune
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience working with RMM tools such as NinjaOne or similar
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with end users
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel locally within Chicagoland and Northern Illinois for occasional onsite visits


Nice to Have


  • Experience with PowerShell or scripting
  • Experience with endpoint security tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Huntress, or Microsoft Defender
  • Experience with documentation and knowledge base tools
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Google, or similar
