Position: Sr IT D365 Project Manager
Location: Charlotte (onsite tu/w/th, remote M & F)
Duration: PERMANENT/FULL TIME
Salary: $125k - $150k (15-20% bonus potential)
MUST HAVES:
- 5-7 years managing end-to-end IT/software implementations
- Track record of delivering multiple projects successfully
- SaaS experience and strong understanding of business operations and IT systems; hands-on with Dynamics 365 implementation specifically
- Confidence owning enterprise-scale projects with minimal ramp-up
- Excellent stakeholder communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Strong organization, prioritization, and budget/time management
- High ownership, urgency, and a bias for resolving issues quickly
- Business maturity to guide stakeholders to measurable financial and productivity outcomes
Day to Day:
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Sr IT Project Manager to lead a multi-phase Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and a portfolio of enterprise IT projects. You’ll own delivery end to end—from discovery and process mapping through data migration, go-live, and adoption—partnering with business leaders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-integrity solutions.
Some of the role’s daily responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation (F&O and/or Customer Engagement)
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables from discovery through go-live
- Coordinate executive sponsors, department leaders, and third-party partners
- Conduct fit-gap analysis; recommend configuration vs. customization
- Maintain RAID log and provide clear status reporting to the PMO
- Lead change management (communications, UAT, training, and post-launch support)
- Oversee data migration from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity
