SAP Solution Delivery Lead / SAP Technical Program Lead

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced SAP professional to support a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative focused on SAP S/4HANA Utilities, Customer Service, and Meter-to-Cash (M2C) business processes.
This role will serve as a key leader across SAP solution delivery, partnering with internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and third-party vendors to ensure successful design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of SAP solutions.
The ideal candidate brings deep SAP expertise, strong program delivery experience, and the ability to coordinate complex technical initiatives across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Solution Delivery & Architecture
- Support end-to-end SAP solution delivery for Meter-to-Cash (M2C) and Customer Service business processes
- Oversee the design, configuration, customization, and integration of SAP solutions
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Support SAP S/4HANA Utilities, SAP Service Cloud, SAP BTP, and related SAP platforms
Development & Integration Oversight
- Oversee SAP RICEFW development activities, including:
- Reports
- Interfaces
- Conversions
- Enhancements
- Forms
- Workflows
- Ensure technical solutions align with program objectives and enterprise architecture standards
- Coordinate integration efforts across SAP and non-SAP platforms using APIs, middleware, and integration services
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Guide unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and performance testing activities
- Ensure test plans, defects, and results are properly documented and tracked
- Partner with technical and business teams to drive successful testing outcomes
- Utilize Agile delivery and test management tools such as Jira and qTest
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate activities across multiple vendors and implementation partners
- Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution
- Facilitate communication across business, technology, security, and operations teams
- Provide status updates and support program governance activities
Deployment, Cutover & Hypercare
- Support deployment planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization efforts
- Assist with knowledge transfer and operational readiness planning
- Mentor internal teams and managed service providers on SAP processes and best practices
Security, Compliance & DevSecOps
- Ensure SAP security roles, access models, and compliance requirements are properly designed, implemented, and tested
- Support SAP GRC Access Control and enterprise security initiatives
- Drive adherence to DevSecOps best practices, including:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing
- Code quality reviews
- Security scanning
- Unit test coverage
Monitoring & Operational Excellence
- Establish SAP monitoring and operational support processes
- Support performance monitoring, error handling, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve solution quality, delivery efficiency, and system reliability
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- 7+ years of SAP solution delivery experience
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP implementations within complex enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Service Cloud
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- ABAP Development
- SAP Integration Technologies
- Experience with:
- SAP BTP Integration Suite
- REST APIs
- Middleware platforms
- Enterprise system integrations
- Strong understanding of:
- SAP security models
- SAP GRC Access Control
- Compliance and governance requirements
- Experience leading SAP testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing
- Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Jira, qTest, or similar tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- SAP certifications
- Utility or energy industry experience
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP technologies including:
- MuleSoft
- Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms
- Enterprise API architectures
- Experience with:
- SAP Analytics Cloud
- SAP Business Data Cloud
- AI-enabled SAP solutions
- Knowledge of customer data privacy and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with enterprise data migration and master data management initiatives
- Exposure to change management and user adoption programs
