Responsible for performing tasks related to project completion including analysis, training, testing, documentation, problem resolution and implementation for laboratory information systems as a subject matter expert in assigned laboratory area. Provides input and assists in developing project plans.

Medical Laboratory Scientist:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university AND successful completion of anASCP/NAACLS-accreditedMedical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program OR;
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university with a major in biological, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory science AND ASCP categorical certification OR;
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university with a major in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science AND at least two years' experience in a role equivalent to that of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) in a clinical laboratory
HYBRID - Work from home- can be on site at GMC, GWV, GCMC. GLH. GSACH., GBH, GMCM and GJSH
Hours: Day shift, depending on location for bench, typically 8a-430p for IT work but this is flexible
Travel Less than 25%
Will need to work bench at primary location and travel to other hospitals for various projects ad hoc
Position spends 50% of time in a hospital laboratory. This may include night/weekend/holiday rotation depending on need. Experience in Epic Beaker and Geisinger Chemistry workflows and instrumentation preferred
Weekends are variable based on schedule for bench work, limited on call/evenings/weekends based on projects. Will be discussed at interview
