Industrial Project Manager (JOB ID 003105)

Innovien Solutions
Greenville, SC

Innovien Solutions is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join a team spearheading the electrification and energy infrastructure buildout that powers the modern grid — managing complex, high-value capital equipment programs from contract award through final closeout.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years' experience managing large-scale ($50M+), customer-facing industrial or engineered equipment projects with full commercial accountability
  • Hands-on schedule, cost, risk, change, and contract management with demonstrated on-time, on-budget delivery of multi-year programs
  • Exposure to claims management and commercial negotiations — must be comfortable managing margin, cash flow, and fixed-price contract obligations
  • Experience with project management tools and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle P6 and basic Microsoft window tools

PLUS SKILLS:

  • PMP or equivalent certification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead $100–150M EO/EEP projects to achieve contractual and business objectives, managing schedule, cost, quality, cash flow, margin, and EHS performance across a 3-year lifecycle.
  • Drive accountability across a 10-person matrixed team including engineers, a scheduler, planner, cost analyst, project finance, contract manager, and field team to meet project milestones.
  • Serve as the primary execution contact for the customer, owner's engineer, and construction company; lead progress reviews, resolve issues, and obtain formal sign-offs throughout the project.
  • Maintain integrated schedules and cost forecasts in Oracle P6 and SAP, proactively manage risks and opportunities, and process scope changes and claims with proper documentation.
  • Manage obligations under fixed-price contracts, including claims, commercial negotiations, and change order documentation as required by project and customer.
  • Lead ITO-to-OTR handover, establish governance and team structure, and confirm project readiness including resources, controls, and key supplier interfaces.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, EHS requirements, quality standards, and North American regulations; complete financial closeout, final documentation, and lessons learned.
  • Contribute execution input to proposals — scope, schedule, cost assumptions, and risk — and participate in stage-gate reviews during the pre-order phase.
