Location: Franklin, WI
Schedule: Rotating 12‑Hour Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Pay: $34.20/hour
Job Type: Full‑Time

Shift Schedule
This role follows a rotating schedule with built‑in overtime:

  • Week A: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
    Off Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
    Paid 48 hours
  • Week B: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
    Off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
    Paid 36 hours
Job Overview
The Industrial Mechanic supports food manufacturing and packaging operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. This role helps ensure safe, efficient production while meeting quality, safety, and operational standards in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime
  • Install, align, and adjust conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical components including sensors, switches, relays, and control panels
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Complete minor fabrication, welding, and machining as needed
  • Assist with installation, testing, and start‑up of new or modified equipment
  • Document maintenance activities using a CMMS system
  • Adhere to all safety, food safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements
  • Partner with Production and Engineering teams on root cause analysis and process improvements
  • Support line changeovers, calibrations, and process adjustments
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • PLC experience preferred
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required
