As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining all types of production equipment used in an industrial baking plant. You will work with conveyor belt systems, heaters, ovens, mixers, rolling systems, and basic heating and cooling systems. Your role will also involve fabricating replacement parts for machinery using basic bench top tools and welding equipment. You will follow a daily checklist for preventative tasks and handle any emergency maintenance as needed. Accurate documentation is crucial as you will work in a Food Production Facility. Additionally, you will assist operators during changeovers and troubleshoot issues before adding dough during production runs.

Work Environment
Work in a production environment that can get warm in the summer. The team consists of 11 maintenance techs, an assistant manager, and a manager. Hair nets and beard guards are required due to the food production setting. Uniforms with names are provided, and steel-toed, safety sole boots are necessary. The facility operates 24/7 with four different shifts, including night shifts, and offers extensive training.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
