Join our team as an Industrial Mechanic, responsible for maintaining production equipment in an industrial baking plant. You will work with conveyor belt systems, heaters, ovens, mixers, rolling systems, and perform basic heating and cooling tasks. Additionally, you will fabricate replacement parts using bench top tools and welding equipment. You will follow a daily checklist for preventative tasks and address any emergency maintenance issues. Documentation is crucial as this is a food production facility, and you will use appropriate materials and supplies for machinery. You will assist operators during changeovers, with two changeovers per day, and perform a 'dry run' to troubleshoot issues before dough is added.

Work Environment
Work in a production environment that gets warm during summer. Collaborate with a team of 13 maintenance techs, including assistants and managers. Wear hair nets and beard guards due to food proximity. Some areas of the production floor can be loud. Dress in standardized uniforms with names and wear steel-toed, safety sole boots. The facility operates 24/7/365 with four different shifts. The available opening is on the night shift, with training on the day shift for a month.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
