Industrial Maintenance Tech PM Shift

Job Overview:

Under limited supervision, the Industrial Maintenance Technician is directly responsible for the upkeep 

of equipment, facilities and production at Impact Beverage. This person will perform routine 

maintenance, troubleshoot and repair issues, and ensure the facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. 

This Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Shifts available - Wed-Sat 2:00PM-midnight or Sunday - Wednesday 2:00PM-midnight

Responsibilities:

• Observing operations of production equipment in order to identify, plan and execute any 

efficiencies to achieve optimal performance throughout the production day.

• Displays the ability to be flexible and assist in the operation of machines and other 

responsibilities of a packaging operator as evidently needed or described by the Maintenance 

Supervisor.

• Uses time effectively with consideration of production goals while planning and performing 

maintenance/repairs. 

• Adheres to workflow schedule as described by the Maintenance Manager

• Performs and assists in changeovers on all packaging equipment. 

• General electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting of all production equipment.

• Trains other technicians/operators in operating and changing over equipment when necessary 

• Promptly communicates successful repairs, changes, adjustments and potential issues on all 

production equipment to the Supervisors and Managers. 

• Promptly communicates necessary supplies, equipment, and materials needed to complete 

projects to Maintenance Supervisor

• Performs, and updates equipment PM schedules.

• Accurately documents all maintenance activities in the Impact Beverage CMMS System.

• Assists other members of the maintenance team in planning and executing maintenance and 

repairs to equipment throughout all production lines.

• Identifies and uses opportunities to learn new and unfamiliar skills from other operators, 

maintenance technicians and managers.

• Displays a “team player” attitude and assists other production staff in obvious and nuanced 

situations.


Required Qualifications:

• Must have 2-4 years of related industrial maintenance work experience

• Must be proficient in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical drive systems and process flow i.e., 

pumps, packaging equipment, cellar equipment, other facility equipment.

• Proficiency in use of hand and power tools.

• Must be able to accurately record data in CMMS system through desktop and mobile devices.

• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine 

manuals, electrical blueprints/schematics.

• Must have demonstrated skills in general maintenance.

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills

• Support outside contractors as needed


Physical Requirements:

• Operate inside confined spaces

• Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 165 pounds

• Possess the manual dexterity to operate hand tools

• Execute repetitive motions for long periods when necessary (packaging, etc.)

• Required to stand, crouch, lift and climb ladders

• Work at height

• Wear appropriate PPE for a given task
