Insight Global is seeking a Seibi Technician to support a Production Engineering (PE) Battery Team within Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering (VME). This role focuses on Battery Pack Assembly equipment confirmation, safety validation, and manufacturing readiness across North American and global sites.
This is a highly hands‑on role involving Seibi equipment checks (Safety, Electrical, Mechanical), machine risk assessments, safety interlock confirmations, and validation of conveyors, logistics hardware, and zone safety systems. The technician will support vendor buy‑off trials, large‑scale zone trials, and make equipment adjustments to meet Safety, Quality, and Productivity targets.
Candidates will collaborate closely with cross‑functional North American and global teams and should be comfortable traveling to vendor and manufacturing sites in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and occasionally Japan. The ideal candidate enjoys working with complex manufacturing equipment, thrives in a technical environment, and brings a strong safety‑first mindset.
