Fluor is hiring two experienced Industrial Electricians to support ongoing capital projects and facility upgrades at a growing semiconductor‑supply‑chain facility in Martin, SC. This is steady, long‑term work with a small, high‑performing team permanently embedded at the client site.
If you’re a hands‑on electrician who knows industrial work, can run conduit, pull wire, and troubleshoot equipment safely and independently — we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
Install & Upgrade Electrical Systems
Run and install conduit (½"–2"), cable tray (4"–24"), hangers, and supports
Pull wire to motors, valves, transmitters, and instrumentation
Make terminations on 24VDC, 120VAC, 208VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC systems
Install grounding, lighting circuits, receptacles, and GFCIs
Support commissioning: labeling, megging, continuity checks, loop checks
Install and terminate 480V motors and 24V/120V instruments
Install small compressed‑air tubing for instruments and valves
Network & Controls Work
Pull CATV, CAT6, and fiber optic cable
Install switches, routers, and communication hardware
Work Planning & Coordination
Work daily with supervision, maintenance, piping, scaffolding, and operations teams
Participate in pre‑job briefs, hazard reviews, and follow all site safety procedures
Track materials and help build Bills of Materials for small projects
Follow LOTO, permit‑to‑work, and safe‑work practices
Drawings & Documentation
Read and work from electrical blueprints, single‑lines, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and I/O schematics
Update redlines and document field changes
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For
5+ years industrial, manufacturing, or large‑facility electrical experience
Strong conduit, cable tray, and wire‑pulling skills
Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision
Solid understanding of NEC and industrial safety
Team‑oriented, dependable, and safety‑focused
Preferred: Journeyman License or equivalent industrial certification
Work Environment
Work inside industrial facilities around motors, valves, and process equipment
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights, and use lifts/scaffolding
Must be able to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts
Basic hand tools required; major tools and PPE provided
