Role Overview – Incoming Specialty Client Manager – U.S. Broker

 

This mission-critical, mid-level hybrid role sits at the intersection of client delivery, market execution, and global collaboration. The Incoming Specialty Client Manager – U.S. Broker supports the U.S. operations of multinational clients by executing placements, managing renewals, and delivering consistent, high-quality service aligned with defined global program strategy. The role is both client-facing and market-facing, requiring a strong foundation as a U.S. Property & Casualty broker with global program awareness.

The Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary U.S. brokerage lead for assigned incoming multinational accounts, collaborating with the WTW global network and insurance carriers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and overseas colleagues on U.S. insurance market trends, coverage, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients, colleagues, insurance markets, and offshore Global Service Delivery teams.
  • Own execution of domestic U.S. insurance placements for assigned accounts, independently placing smaller risks and applying defined program strategy when supporting larger or more complex placements.
  • Collect, review, and analyze exposure and underwriting data; prepare and present submissions to markets or coordinate with specialty brokers.
  • Analyze quotes and present competitive proposals with clear coverage comparisons and recommendations.
  • Manage policy placements through binding, issuance, endorsements, and audits, ensuring coverage accuracy.
  • Retain and grow the assigned book of business through strong client relationships and delivery of an exceptional service experience.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight, mentoring, and collaboration with a Client Specialist and Global Service Delivery teams.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term, including M&A and acquisition due diligence support.
  • Coordinate and oversee Global Service Delivery (GSD) activities, including policy checking, accounting, billing, certificates, and auto ID issuance.
  • Support client fee and compensation agreements; oversee invoicing accuracy, billing, collections, aged receivables, and bad debt resolution.
  • Ensure full compliance with U.S. legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements, including SOX, FATCA, surplus lines, sanctions, and the Excellence model.
