Our client, Collins Aerospace, is hiring an Incident Manager to join their team in Annapolis, MD!

**This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits** | **MID (overnight) SHIFT 11pm-7:30am EST**


As the Incident Manager, you will support a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC), monitoring and resolving network and system incidents within a 24/7 operational environment. This role is critical in ensuring high availability across IP networks, messaging systems, and air-to-ground communication platforms while delivering timely incident resolution and excellent customer support.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network management systems and respond to incidents in real time
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, system, and application issues
  • Escalate complex incidents and collaborate with senior team members
  • Track and document incidents accurately within ITSM tools
  • Support high-availability IP networks, messaging systems, and communication platforms
  • Manage multiple incidents simultaneously, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment


Desired Skills:

  • Network+ Certification (required)
  • This position requires AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and ITIL/ITSM practices
  • Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices
  • Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP and HSRP
  • CCNA Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, Netcool, or Office 365 (preferred)
