Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hour wk)

7am - 4pm (flexibility here)

On-call every 6-7 weeks (paid 1.5x for OT and on-call)


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience (expert trained) performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high-tech diagnostic equipment, such as CT, MRI, Cath & IR labs.
  • Driver's License (does NOT have to be GA)
  • Great independent/self-starter mindset

Job Description:

A large healthcare system in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Imaging Services Specialist for a full‑time role supporting advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging technology. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of high‑tech imaging equipment, including MRI, CT, and IR, Cath Lab, and EP systems, across a clinical environment. The Senior Imaging Services Specialist is responsible for the installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of imaging and procedural equipment to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff, vendors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Day-to-Day:

  • Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on IR lab, Cath Lab, and EP procedural equipment, as well as MRI and CT imaging systems.
  • Support advanced imaging and interventional platforms, including MRI and CT technologies.
  • Inspect, test, replace, and adjust electrical and mechanical components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Minimize equipment downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid response in clinical and procedural environments.
  • Maintain accurate service records, regulatory documentation, and compliance logs.
  • Manage parts inventory, supplies, and service documentation for imaging and procedural equipment.
  • Communicate equipment status, service needs, and timelines with clinical staff, vendors, and internal teams.
