Location-Hybrid 2-3 days a week in any of the locations (Tampa, FL OR Monroe, NC OR Warren, MA OR Parsippany, NJ)
Key Responsibilities:
User Support: Acting as a point of contact for end users, providing guidance, resolving inquiries, and ensuring effective use of the IFS system through training and documentation.
User Maintenance: Onboarding and offboarding of users following very specific procedures to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Incident Problem Management: Logging and tracking tickets, resolving incidents and service requests, and proactively identifying and addressing recurring issues.
SOX Controls: Preparing evidence and evidence summaries for monthly quarterly semi-annual/annual SOX controls in a timely manner.
System Maintenance: Supporting the technical environment, monitoring system performance, and ensuring the completion of maintenance tasks like refreshing the nonproduction environment cloning production to non-production.
Data Management: Running scripts for mass data updates.
Knowledge Management: Contributing to and maintaining a shared knowledge base, documenting procedures, and creating user guides.
Collaboration: Working with technical teams, internal project teams, and potentially with external support partners to resolve complex issues.
Training: Delivering user training, creating training materials, and ensuring users are properly equipped to utilize the system.
Technical Expertise: Understanding the IFS application's functionalities, code base, and troubleshooting techniques in front-end, service layer, and backend databases.
Reporting: Tracking and reporting on issues and providing data analysis for problem resolution.
Required Skills Experience:
IFS Applications Experience:
7+ years of strong hands-on experience with IFS ERP. Strong preference for people with experience in IFS Apps 7.
Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the IFS system.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users and technical teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
ITIL Processes: Understanding of ITIL processes related to Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
Database Concepts: Knowledge of database systems e.g., Oracle, Knowledge of database concepts and the ability to assist users with data extraction. Experience running update scripts.
Business Acumen: Understanding of how the IFS system supports business operations. Business Expertise in Manufacturing Processes such as Discrete Manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, Shop Floor Reporting, Material and Resource Planning and experience with specific IFS modules like Finance or Supply Chain. Desirable Skills:
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
Experience using Crystal Reports and Power BI to create custom user reports.
Experience with IFS DOP functionality.
Understanding of both standard costing and actual costing and the implications in the system.
