Join our healthcare partner's Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) and be part of a team that provides exceptional care to over 4000 cardiology patients annually. As a critical member of the CVU, you will utilize your clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. You'll be involved in procedures such as PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, and care for patients post open-heart surgery, with congestive heart failure, and those undergoing electrophysiology studies.

• Provide high-quality care to cardiology patients, including those post open-heart surgery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in national clinical trials managed by the NISUS research department
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Requirements:

• Michigan RN license verification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Need 1 year experience in ICU setting
• EKG experience required
• Must be willing to float to similar units
• Preferred experience in Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, managing vents, CRRT, and balloon pumps
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
