Identity and Access Management's (IAM) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargo’s infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws.  EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

We are looking for a software engineer to assist with our development and testing efforts for the Identity and Access Management data management processes and engineering.  This person will provide engineering activities, including but not limited to, application development and testing to facilitate business processes.  Prefer a candidate that has extensive knowledge in .Net, SQL Server, and or java and able to create and manage automated testing leveraging Selenium. Should have knowledge with various Identity and Access data elements and various IAM functions.   
 
This position will support the IAM Organization in data process and engineering  within the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) and IAM organizations for information needs. 

Will be responsible for:
Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering 
Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain 
including, upgrades and deployments. Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments. Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in 
determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.   • Works with a variety complex applications and/or application initiatives.
  • Utilizes an understanding of data and application requirements to provide and test solutions enabling the business.
  • Build and maintain automation of testing process of applications and processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within a variety of teams throughout the organization. 

Successful candidate will work closely with the various stakeholders within IAM,  Information Security Management, Risk, and with business lines and technology leadership across the enterprise in the execution of the WF strategies/objectives.  Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to effectively engage in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, and have a strong operational and delivery focus

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of .Net or Java experience or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of RESTful service development experience using .Net core
  • 3+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
  • 3 + years of automation or regression testing experience
  • 2+ years of experience delivering Business Intelligence (BI), analytics and reporting using API Services architecture
  • 3+ years of MS SQL server experience

  • High level understanding of various development technology environments. 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology related field, or four (4) plus years of experience.
  • Past Wells Fargo experience.


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
