Mental Health Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC-D, LMFT)
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 Days In Office / 3 Days Remote
Hours: Monday–Friday with occasional evening hours
Bonus: $5,000 Retention Bonus
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Clinician to join a collaborative behavioral health team serving patients across the lifespan. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician passionate about providing high-quality mental health services within an integrated healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, experience working with diverse populations, and a commitment to improving access to behavioral healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy services.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, goals, and interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health consultation as needed.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Document all patient encounters and clinical services within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in care coordination and treatment planning activities.
- Identify and address child welfare concerns and follow appropriate reporting procedures.
- Educate healthcare staff regarding psychosocial issues affecting patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
- May provide supervision to social work interns and trainees.
