The HVAC Technician shall always strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
Responsible for the daily maintenance and repairs of all hotel heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems as well as all hot and cold-water systems to include but not limited to boilers, cooling tower, associated pumps and motors, refrigeration equipment, coolers and freezers. Perform Preventive Maintenance as assigned or required while keeping system downtime to a minimum. Provide our guest with first class services that promotes return visits and builds brand recognition.

Experience & Education:
- At least 2 years as a HVAC technician in the hospitality or service industry.
- At least 2 years relevant work experience with refrigeration
- Must be EPA certified with at least Type II or better
- High School graduate or Technical/Trade School preferred
Job Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have valid Driver’s license and meet resort driving standards
- Must understand the usage of hand tools and some power tools.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
- Must be highly detailed orientated

Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance;
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally.
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;
- While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat);
- Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
