TA / HR Coordinator
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support recruiting activities and day-to-day HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle. This role serves as a point of contact for candidates, employees, hiring managers, and HR team members, ensuring a positive experience from recruitment through onboarding and beyond.
The Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for supporting recruiting efforts, supporting onboarding activities, maintaining employee records, assisting with HR programs and processes, and ensuring accurate and timely administration of HR-related activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to ensure smooth and efficient recruitment experience.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and ensure candidate information is accurate and up to date.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, military transition programs, internships, and university outreach initiatives.
- Assist with sourcing activities and candidate pipeline development as needed.
- Prepare and distribute letters and onboarding documentation.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and employee welcome processes.
- Ensure completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, employment verification, and required documentation.
- Serve as a resource for new employees during onboarding and transition periods.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
- Support employee communications and HR-related announcements.
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain employee records, HR systems, and personnel files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and organizational changes.
- Support benefits enrollment activities, and employee documentation processes.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and data validation efforts.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate's degree or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, military experience, professional certifications, and relevant work experience will be considered. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Coordination, or related administrative support roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS platforms.
