HR/Payroll Specialist
(On‑Site – Lake Forest, CA)
4–6 Month Contract (covering Mat Leave)
Pay: $27 to $35 per hour
Our client in Lake Forest is seeking an experienced HR/Payroll Specialist to support critical HR and payroll operations during a 4–6 month project. This role is fully on‑site and requires strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, along with a solid HR foundation and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process full‑cycle payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now
• Maintain employee records, ensure data integrity, and process HR transactions
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and compliance documentation
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll-related inquiries
• Run and audit reports for payroll accuracy and HR compliance
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to support daily operations
• Provide exceptional internal customer service to employees and managers
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of HR and payroll experience
• Advanced experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
• Strong knowledge of wage laws, payroll compliance, and HR best practices
• High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on‑site environment

• Duration: 4–6 months
• Schedule: On‑site in Lake Forest, CA
• $27 to $35 per hour
