Job Description
The Office of Human Resources within the Office of the State Courts Administrator seeks a professional to lead and manage human resources payroll operations. This position oversees payroll services and processes, supervises and mentors a team of three staff members, and ensures accurate, efficient coordination of payroll-related activities across the State Courts System (SCS), including circuit courts and District Courts of Appeal.
The incumbent serves as the SCS’s primary liaison to the DFS Bureau of State Payrolls. Additional responsibilities include interpreting and assisting in developing HR policies, rules, and procedures, developing and conducting training, analyzing human resources issues to advise and make recommendations, and performing a variety of administrative functions. This role serves as the lead contact and provides office support in the absence of the HR Chief or Operations Manager, ensuring continuity of operations.

Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, business management, employment law, human resource management, accounting, or a closely related field.
Experience
Refers to the amount of related work experience that is recommended for entry into the position that would result in reasonable expectation that the person can perform the required tasks. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis, excluding supervisory experience.
Five years of experience in human resources management or accounting management, including two years of supervisory or team lead experience.
