We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for our growing aerospace organization. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources operations while ensuring compliance with applicable employment regulations and FAA-related workforce requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting organizations within FAA-regulated or aerospace environments. This individual must be confident, highly organized, and comfortable working with both executive leadership and frontline employees. Strong character, integrity, and cultural fit are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all HR functions for a workforce of 132 employees

Directly supervise and mentor one HR team member

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as FAA workforce regulations and audit requirements

Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution

Lead recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning and onboarding

Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination (HRIS: Paycom – training available)

Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates

Partner with leadership on organizational development, succession planning, and retention strategies

Maintain personnel records and ensure audit readiness

Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives

Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration consistent with aerospace industry standards

Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred)

Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience

Prior experience supporting FAA-regulated, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred

Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom experience preferred but not required)

Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices

Demonstrated experience handling employee relations and investigations

Experience managing at least one direct report preferred

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus, but not required
