Title: HR Generalist

Location: Menomonee Falls (Hybrid - 2 days remote weekly)

Salary: $70,000-$95,000

Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Job Type: Full-time, permanent


About the Opportunity

A growing, family-owned organization is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist to join their team. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle HR operations, including payroll, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and recruiting. The ideal candidate thrives in a smaller, team-oriented environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.


Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll (hourly & salaried)
  • Ensure accuracy across wages, taxes, deductions, and garnishments
  • Maintain payroll records and support audits
  • Handle payroll changes including new hires, terminations, and adjustments
  • Support ACA reporting and compliance

Human Resources

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records and documentation
  • Administer benefits and respond to employee questions
  • Support employee relations and performance management
  • Assist with leave administration (PTO, FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation)

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Support HR audits and reporting (EEO, wage & hour, etc.)
  • Help develop and improve HR processes and procedures

Recruiting

  • Partner with hiring managers on open roles
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
  • Support hiring documentation and onboarding


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience with strong payroll exposure
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and employment regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
