Human Resources Generalist

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals and foster a positive, productive workplace.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Partner with leaders to understand staffing needs and workforce planning requirements
  • Administer HR processes within the applicant tracking system
  • Conduct new hire orientation and support employee onboarding
  • Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and employment matters
  • Support employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with succession planning and training needs based on performance reviews
  • Support benefits administration, FMLA, disability, and attendance-related matters
  • Serve as a liaison for workers’ compensation claims and related processes
  • Build relationships with community organizations and support recruiting and workforce initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3–5 years of HR experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience beneficial but not required
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with recruiting and staffing processes
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership
