Human Resources Generalist
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals and foster a positive, productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Partner with leaders to understand staffing needs and workforce planning requirements
- Administer HR processes within the applicant tracking system
- Conduct new hire orientation and support employee onboarding
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and employment matters
- Support employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with succession planning and training needs based on performance reviews
- Support benefits administration, FMLA, disability, and attendance-related matters
- Serve as a liaison for workers’ compensation claims and related processes
- Build relationships with community organizations and support recruiting and workforce initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3–5 years of HR experience
- Manufacturing industry experience beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with recruiting and staffing processes
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership
