Role Overview

In this role, you are a true HR Generalist/HR Operations partner supporting a geographically dispersed, high-volume sales workforce while driving analytics, training, compliance, and process improvement to impact performance!


You provide comprehensive day-to-day HR support to the U.S. based employees and leaders. Key functions include ensuring compliance with employment standards, managing employee relations, training, and overseeing administration for onboarding, policies, and benefits. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Field Operations to foster a positive staff experience.


Key Responsibilities

Employee Support & HR Operations

  • Provide frontline HR support to employees and managers across multiple U.S. states.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration including activation, onboarding, offboarding, documentation, HRIS updates, and employment records.
  • Support employee relations processes, investigations, performance management, and workplace issue resolution.
  • Act as the primary administrator for all benefit plans; manage daily enrollments, terminations, and life event changes
  • Support high-volume sales organizations by assisting with training coordination, performance enablement initiatives, and workforce development programs.


Compliance & HR Programs

  • Co create, update, and maintain the Employee Handbook and all supplemental policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as HR best practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, i-9 and documentation while supporting with risk mitigation and 100% accuracy for audits readiness.


Organizational Support

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Field Operations, Recruiting, Finance, and business leaders to streamline HR processes and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Leverage HR systems and reporting tools to monitor workforce metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations that support business objectives and employee engagement.
  • Develop and maintain HR KPIs and reporting dashboards to measure the effectiveness of HR programs, workforce trends, compliance activities, and operational performance.
  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Support Payroll functions and Act as the "Super User" and administrator for HRIS and payroll processing program.
  • Act as a collaborative team player by providing backup support to colleagues and assisting the broader team during peak periods or absences to ensure operational continuity.
  • Manage employment compliance requests, verifications, and documentation needs;
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive information in accordance with data privacy laws.
  • Identify potential compliance gaps or operational bottlenecks and communicate findings to leadership with recommended corrective actions.


Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 2+ years of progressive HR Coordinator/Generalist experience supporting U.S.-based employees in a multi-state environment.
  • Completed diploma/ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting training and development programs
  • Experience supporting high-volume sales, field sales, fundraising, or other performance-driven environments is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in fast-paced or multi-location organizations is considered an asset.


Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.


Technical Skills

  • Experience developing and maintaining HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS, payroll, and reporting systems with strong data management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.
  • Comfortable managing HR documentation, reporting, and virtual employee support across multiple locations.
