Our client, a food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting plant leadership and employees. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a high level of discretion and confidentiality which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Human Resources Generalist
Location:  Barron County, WI
Pay Range:  $75,000 – $85,000 annually plus bonus
 
What’s the Job?

•    Manage full-cycle recruiting for production workers and professional staff, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
•    Act as a point of contact for employee issues, conducting investigations, facilitating conflict resolution, and managing disciplinary actions
•    Partner with employees and plant management to communicate human resource policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as OSHA safety regulations
•    Coordinate employee training, development initiatives, and performance appraisal process
•    Maintain compliance with food manufacturing regulatory standards as they relate to workforce practices (e.g., GMP training documentation)

 
What’s Needed?
•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
•    3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production
•    Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
•    Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
•    Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
