Job Title: Workday Functional Lead
Job Description

This role involves leading the HR functional aspects of Time, Absence, Payroll, and HCM within the Workday system. The position requires a deep understanding of Workday configurations and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead the development of Time and Absence prototype tenants and manage their migration.
  • Lead design decisions ensuring cohesiveness with other areas of the Workday HCM system.
  • Oversee and execute system testing processes.
  • Partner with business subject matter experts to ensure appropriate configuration of the system.
  • Understand unique business requirements and translate them into system configuration.
  • Appropriately escalate risks related to system configuration and integration.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Workday and Workday HRIS.
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday transformation.
  • Strong background in human resources and reporting.
  • 7 years of experience in Workday configuration.
  • Experience with HCM systems and technical aptitude for system configuration.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical capability to configure Workday to meet business requirements.
Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. The initial contract is for 3 months, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and project needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
