HRC Apprentice

**This position is for current high school students**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Know proper safety procedures for operating in and around the process areas in the refinery
• Read and follow all applicable guidelines and procedures
• Shadow/observe refinery personnel to obtain working knowledge of day-to-day operation of refinery and administrative support areas
• Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by supervision

Program Requirements

• High school student at Junior status or higher upon entering the program
• Must be dually enrolled in the modern manufacturing program at Shelton State community college
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Must have a written recommendation from a teacher
