HR Technical Project Manager

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Timekeeping & Attendance solution within a large, project‑based organization. This is a high‑visibility, enterprise‑impacting initiative requiring a PM who can quickly bring structure, clarity, and momentum to a program already in flight. This role sits at the intersection of IT, HR, Payroll, and Finance and will partner closely with executive stakeholders and external vendors. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of urgency, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in environments without formal PMO structures or standardized methodologies.

Must Have Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex, cross‑functional technology initiatives.
• Experience delivering HR technology projects, particularly those adjacent to time management, payroll, or workforce systems.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including comfort engaging with senior and executive leaders.
• Experience managing vendors and third‑party software implementations.
• Highly organized, outcome‑driven, and comfortable managing ambiguity in fast‑moving environments.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - clear, succinct, and executive‑ready.

Nice to Have

• Workday implementation experience or experience partnering closely with Workday program teams.
• Background in construction, engineering, or other project‑based / hourly workforce environments.
• Exposure to enterprise change management initiatives or large‑scale system standardization efforts.
