Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a HR Spec-SurveyDesign&Analytics.

In this role, the successful candidate Supports both the NYU Langone Academy and Workplace Culture/Inclusion departments by performing survey and evaluative design, deployment, analysis, and reporting tasks. Understands learning academy program evaluation design, analysis and reporting, and in supporting ROI analysis of key Academy leader development initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engagement survey design and set up which involves taking the lead with vendor to confirm items/categories, review data collection template, and validate survey items with stakeholder groups.
  • Understands data availability and relationship to desired outcomes from the survey.
  • Is the principal point person to ensure file integrity and hierarchical accuracy; ensures organizational changes are reflected in the data file and manages account set ups and permissions matrix.
  • Partners with vendor and HRIT to add/update demographics in the survey platform as needed.
  • Ensures sufficient testing is performed along with pilot testing.
  • Coordinates with vendor to complete language translation.
  • Is the principal point of contact for survey deployment, troubleshoots inquiries and performs adhoc reporting.
  • Works with vendor to optimize survey reporting dashboard.
  • Provides technical assistance to leaders regarding the use of the survey platform, including correcting errors and using key functionality.
  • Constructs and facilitates implementation of new training related to survey deployment and maximizing employee engagement.
  • Utilizes data results from the engagement survey and identifies linkages to other HR data sources such as PeopleSoft, HR dashboards, exit surveys, etc.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to areas that reveal potential outcomes that would lead to development of future HR initiatives or identify areas that require more extensive attention.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable goals, milestones, and benchmarks in order to define organization wide key performance metrics.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to motivate and retain employees.
  • Supports NYULA in designing, administering, analyzing and reporting quantitative surveys designed to measure learning needs and/or transfer and impact of learning interventions.
  • Manages NYULA program analytics by identifying specific employee and faculty populations for targeted services, and for specific analytic tasks.
  • Creates a system for measuring the short and long-term impact of specific learning and development interventions (e.g., completing leader development programs).
  • Works with Academy team members to create a standard evaluation and reporting template that aligns with institutional needs and requirements.
  • Gathers and organizes program and service data (e.g., course completion, program evaluation, OD intervention results, etc.) into a branded monthly/quarterly/annual report template.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree required in applied statistics, data management or related field

Three years experience in data base management and data analysis

Previous experience with quantitative survey design, administration and analysis

Previous experience in translating complex data into useful information for decision-makers

Previous work experience in health care or education fields preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree Organizational Development, Adult Education, or related field. Professional inHuman Resources (PHR). 1- 2 years Supervisory or Management.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,066 - $153,443.68 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
