Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is now recruiting Housepersons to join our team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Position Summary

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned spaces in the hotel. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Demonstrates a professional, friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests and employees.

Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions

• Collects soiled linen for laundering from housekeeping carts.
• Receives linen supplies from laundry and stocks linen closets on guest floors in a neat, organized manner.
• Maintains housekeeping carts and stocks supplies.
• Strips soiled linen from beds when asked to help housekeepers.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Transports clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms on the floors and refills the par stock of linen on each floor
• Refills the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each housekeeping storage area.
• Helps the room attendants with heavy lifting and special cleaning projects as directed.
• Cleans all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
• Removes soiled linen and trash from the pool side and other service areas and takes to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
• Reports missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor and managers.
• Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

• High schools diploma or a hospitality trade Certificate.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
