Lead Housekeeper – Tropicana Laughlin

Summary

The Lead Housekeeper cleans hotel guest rooms and baths on a shift‑quota basis while serving as a departmental leader. This role trains Guest Room Attendants on proper cleaning methods and product usage, and inspects all assigned rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

  • Train Guest Room Attendants on proper cleaning methods and product usage
  • Inspect assigned rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Push, pull, and turn a 50–70 lb. linen cart when loaded
  • Change bed linens, including bending and tucking sheets under mattresses of varying sizes
  • Dust and polish furniture using household cleaners, reaching up to 6 feet high
  • Sanitize and scrub bathtubs, sinks, toilets, and floors while kneeling, stretching, and bending
  • Lift a 15–18 lb. vacuum cleaner and vacuum guest rooms
  • Move furniture weighing up to 15 lbs. as needed
  • Load linen carts, requiring bending, reaching up to 6 feet, and lifting 7‑lb. linen bundles
  • Walk extensively between employee entrance, Housekeeping Department, and assigned stations
  • Knock and announce presence before entering guest rooms
  • Communicate professionally with guests, Executive Housekeeper, and Security
  • Remove Room Service trays and tables from guest rooms
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Maintain availability for scheduled work
  • Exhibit Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service at all times

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for training Guest Room Attendants in proper cleaning methods and the correct use of cleaning equipment and products.
