POSITION PROFILE


We're looking for a dedicated and hospitality-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to manage daily operations of the housekeeping department at The ideal candidate will be a motivating team leader that's up to the task of managing staff, performing room inspections, making schedules, and exceeding our high standards of cleanliness and trusty service.

THE TASK AT HAND:

  • Supervise day-to-day housekeeping operations, including guest room cleaning, public area presentation, and pool deck maintenance.
  • Assign daily boards, prioritize room cleaning based on occupancy and arrival needs, and communicate room readiness to the Front Desk in real time.
  • Ensure all rooms meet ARRIVE brand standards prior to being released for sale.
  • Assist with cleaning rooms or public areas during high occupancy periods or staffing shortages.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and pool areas.
  • Ensure furniture placement, décor, amenities, and linens align with ARRIVE floor plans and Eye for Detail standards.
  • Inspect pool furniture, cushions, umbrellas, and deck cleanliness daily; ensure alignment and proper setup.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, wear and tear, and safety hazards promptly.
  • Train housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, safety standards, and brand presentation guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to team members as needed.
  • Lead by example — visible, engaged, and willing to assist wherever needed.
  • Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly, solution-oriented manner.
  • Ensure VIP rooms and special requests are executed with precision.
  • Monitor supply usage, linen controls, and chemical consumption.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in monthly Safety Committee meetings.
  • Collaborate with General Manager on additional tasks.
  • Any additional tasks as assigned by property management.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach overhead.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors during periods of extreme weather changes.
