JOB TITLE:  

Wyoming Athletics Gameday Crew

JOB PURPOSE:  

The Wyoming Athletics Gameday Crew is part of the Marketing and Fan Experience team. We are looking for upbeat and friendly students to assist with the overall execution of fan experience initiatives on gameday for select Wyoming Athletics programs.

Gameday crew members will ensure fans have an outstanding experience from start to finish when they come to a Wyoming Athletics event. They will assist in the successful execution of giveaways, Kids Zone, and other promotions and activations. Gameday crew members will be expected to work gamedays for Wyoming Athletics, including all home football contests and select sporting events including volleyball, soccer, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, & wrestling. The ideal gameday crew member is energetic, friendly, and committed to customer service.          

Must be available to work all six home football games and select other home athletic events for the 2026-2027 athletics season                          

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Interact with fans and Wyoming students throughout pregame to promote the Wyoming Athletics brand and enhance the fan experience
  • Welcome and engage with fans upon entering the venue and distribute any giveaways in a positive and professional manner
  • Help with Kids Zone in the Pepsi Pregame Zone and Cowboy Walk for home football games
  • Work alongside marketing interns to execute sponsored promotions on-court at men’s and women’s basketball as well as volleyball and wrestling. 
  • Continually represent Wyoming Athletics in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Education:  Must be a University of Wyoming Student. 
  • Experience: 
    • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Must be comfortable interacting in a professional and engaging manner with fans of all ages, including donors, families, college students and children.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, team-oriented environment
  • Must have high energy, be enthusiastic, and display positivity regarding the Wyoming Athletics brand
  • Must have the ability to remain on your feet and be active for extended periods of time
  • Must be reliable, punctual, courteous, and have good listening and multi-tasking skills
  • Must possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate with members of the public
  • Must be available to work all six home football games and select other home athletic events for the 2026-2027 athletics season
  • Must be available to work both fall and spring semesters, with some exception for December 2026 graduates

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
