Hotel Public Areas Attendant - AM and PM Shifts Available

The Public Areas Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have exceptional communication skills as well as superior guest service abilities. This position is fast paced with constant customer interaction.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest complaints and needs.
  • Respond to pages and radio calls immediately.
  • Complete duties on the daily checklist/railroad schedule.
  • Follow proper use of approved chemicals and accurately label chemical containers. Always use gloved and goggles when handling chemicals.
  • Complete Chemical Training and Blood Borne Pathogens Training.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information and material.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel property, hotel staff, hotel services, hotel service hours of operation, and hotel surroundings (i.e. mall, restaurants).
  • Work weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Assist with Guest Request Runner responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to push and pull a moderate amount of weight.
  • Must be able to bend at the waist, kneel down, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Preferred candidates will have refined verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to work on any day including weekends and holidays. Scheduling is based on the needs of the hotel and business levels.

  • For those interested in working morning and afternoon hours, you must be able to work any shift between 6:00am and 8:00pm.
  • For those interested in working afternoon and evening hours, you must be able to work any shift between 1:00pm and 11:30pm.

  • Preferred candidates will have completely open schedule availability to work on any day and any shift.

  • Ideal candidate will be able to work both Public Areas Attendant and Guest Request Runner duties as needed.
