Hotel Manager

We are conducting a confidential search for a Hotel Manager to join a flagship, ultra-luxury beachfront resort in South Florida. This is a highly visible Executive Committee role within a large-scale (400+ room) resort environment, requiring a disciplined leader who thrives in Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star operations.
This position functions as the strategic business leader of property operations and serves as the acting General Manager in their absence, overseeing all operational departments and ensuring execution of a world-class service culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all property operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Recreation, Spa, and Food & Beverage
- Act as a hands-on operational leader, maintaining strong visibility across the resort and engaging directly with guests and team members
- Champion and uphold Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star standards, ensuring consistency, precision, and elevated service delivery
- Partner with Executive Committee leaders to develop and execute operational strategy, aligning service, financial performance, and guest satisfaction
- Oversee performance across all departments, ensuring profitability, labor management, and expense control without compromising the luxury experience
- Drive alignment across Rooms and Food & Beverage, ensuring a seamless, resort-wide guest journey
- Maintain oversight of a large, high-end spa and wellness operation, ensuring service standards align with the overall resort experience
- Lead, coach, and develop department heads, fostering a culture of accountability, consistency, and service excellence
- Regularly tour the property, identifying operational opportunities and reinforcing service culture in real time
Required Background
- Current or recent experience as a Hotel Manager, Director of Rooms, or equivalent senior leadership role within a luxury resort
- Rooms Division background is required, with additional Food & Beverage exposure strongly preferred
- Must have experience within a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort environment
- Proven success within large, complex resort operations (400+ rooms)
- Experience in beachfront or destination resort settings
- Exposure to overseeing or partnering with a large luxury spa operation
- No first-time Hotel Managers—this role requires a proven, established leader
