Host Cashier - Island Grille

As a part-time Host/ess Cashier at our restaurant, you'll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for our guests' visits. With your friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, you'll help ensure our establishment runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage reservations, set up room seating charts, and coordinate room flow.
• Warmly greet guests and escort them to their dining tables.
• Present menus, share information about specials, soups, and introduce the server.
• Accurately take orders, enter them into the system, and handle payments.
• Make change, cash checks, and issue receipts or tickets to customers.
• Settle checks for non-gaming revenue used for food and services.
• Verify charges, process credit card payments, and batch 'tip' slips for server gratuities.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the counter and food service area at all times.
• Assist servers and bussers with their duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• At least six months of experience in fast food or restaurant service.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Have or obtain a Class 12 Mixologist Permit/13 Alcohol Server Permit.
• Have or obtain a Current Washington State Food Worker Card.
