Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Labor Relations Manager! Bonus Incentive Program and Relocation!


Reporting to the Senior Director/Counsel of Labor Relations, the Labor Relations Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day leader for all labor relations matters in the company’s affiliated Massachusetts market. Role will oversee labor relations across three facilities in Massachusetts and work closely with senior human resources and operations leadership.


Under the direction of the Senior Director/Counsel of Labor Relations, will help drive strategy and provide guidance on a broad range of labor relations matters, including collective bargaining, contract interpretation and administration, labor law compliance, and union avoidance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD required.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience managing outside counsel and consultants.
  • Experience managing the grievance and arbitration process.
  • Experience with union campaigns.
  • Experience with union negotiations.
  • Extensive experience with and knowledge of labor and employment laws and labor relations.
  • Possess research, analytical, organization, and computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently as well as having strong interpersonal, organization, written and communication skills.
