General Surgical Pathologist with GI expertise – Oklahoma City, OK

AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based General Surgical Pathologist with GI expertise.

Responsibilities:

Case work will include AP/CP general surgical sign-out, liver, pancreas, transplant, routine GI, and frozen sign-out. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as a part of a team of 6 pathologists and an expected broader team of 10 pathologists.Hospital lab medical directorship opportunities are available.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree plus AP/CP Residency
• Must be board certified/board eligible in anatomic and clinical pathology
• GI/Surgical Pathology Fellowship a plus
• Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or be eligible to obtain licensure

• Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted
