Homesale Relocation Consultant (Real Estate)


We are looking for an experienced Homesale Relocation Counselor to join our client in Houston, TX.


You will join a growing relocation and real estate services team supporting corporate clients and employees through the home sale and relocation process across the US.


This position is ideal for a hands-on real estate professional who understands the full property transaction lifecycle and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where communication and problem-solving are key.


The ideal applicant will have worked for a relocation company handling the home sale relocation process.

Key Scope of Role:

  • Manage corporate home sale and relocation services for relocating employees, acting as the main point of contact throughout the process.
  • Support home sale programmes, including Buyer Value Option, Guaranteed Buyout, Home Marketing Assistance, Home Purchase Assistance, and Direct Reimbursement services.
  • Coordinate property inspections, title reviews, contracts, settlement documentation, and reporting activities to ensure transactions progress efficiently and compliantly.
  • Provide guidance to sellers on local market conditions, pricing strategy, staging preparation, and marketing readiness to maximise property performance.
  • Work closely with brokers, title companies, inspectors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, manage expectations, and deliver a high standard of service.
  • Maintain regular communication with corporate clients, providing updates on storage, transaction progress, reporting, and programme activity.
  • Handle sensitive conversations professionally, including delays, contract challenges, inspection outcomes, and other escalations, while working towards practical solutions.
  • Accurately maintain case files, reporting data, invoices, and transaction updates within internal systems, including Ascent, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ensure all activity is completed in line with SLA requirements, GDPR regulations, company policies, and compliance standards.
  • Support a small real estate and relocation team with a flexible and proactive approach, assisting wherever required to ensure service delivery targets are achieved.


General Duties:

  • Manage multiple relocation and home sale cases simultaneously within agreed timelines.
  • Review BMAs, appraisals, inspection reports, and supporting property documentation.
  • Coordinate with title and settlement partners to ensure contracts and documentation are accurate and completed correctly.
  • Track expenses, billing, and reimbursement activity in line with client policies.
  • Prepare reports and manual data updates for clients and internal management.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with assignees, brokers, vendors, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to management based remotely in another state.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to the continued growth of the real estate services function.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and employee information at all times.
  • Assist with additional operational and relocation support duties when required.


Background and Experience Needed:

  • Previous experience within relocation services, homesale programmes, or corporate real estate support is required.
  • CRP certification and active real estate sales licensing preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the residential buying and selling process, including contracts, inspections, title reviews, and settlements.
  • Knowledge of local real estate market trends and seller strategy development.
  • Experience supporting corporate clients and managing relationship-driven service delivery.
  • Confident handling difficult conversations and resolving complex situations professionally.
  • Strong administrative and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in general case management systems.
  • Able to work independently, prioritise workloads, and adapt within a small team environment.
  • Professional, organised, ethical, and committed to delivering high-quality service standards with a hands-on approach.
