What you’ll do:

As one of our Homeowner Engagement Specialists, you will serve as the primary case manager for future Habitat homeowners, guiding them through every step of our Homeownership Program. This includes conducting monthly check-ins, providing education, and offering personalized support to ensure participants are fully prepared for successful homeownership.

In this role, you’ll lead various homeowner engagement and support initiatives to enhance participant success, increase program retention, and foster strong relationships between Habitat and the families we serve. Your goal is to empower families through education and advocacy, while also strengthening our brand and reinforcing Habitat for Humanity-Spokane’s reputation as a trusted community partner. This position reports to the Senior Program Manager of Homeowner Services.

Who you are:
  • Experience in case management, housing programs, affordable housing, or related fields strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending and community development is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and build positive relationships.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Must maintain a Qualified Loan Originator Certification or be willing to obtain it upon hire.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of respect and belonging for individuals of all identities and backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements. Base Pay Range: $37,800 – $42,286 Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs.
