The Triage Pharmacy Technician supports safe and efficient prescription processing by performing general pharmacy technician duties, including filling prescriptions, reviewing health insurance and prescription orders, and assisting patients in person and over the phone. This role requires strong customer service, accurate data entry, and effective use of electronic pharmacy systems to ensure patients receive timely and accurate medications.
Responsibilities
This is an on-site position and is not remote. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role operates in a community-focused pharmacy environment that serves the local area through multiple business lines. Team members use electronic pharmacy programs and computer systems throughout the day to manage prescriptions, patient profiles, and communication with facilities. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50/hr.
