Home Health Care Scheduler (Full-Time, Mon–Fri)Interim Health Care of Washtenaw About the Role: We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can keep schedules tight, caregivers supported, and clients fully covered. As the Scheduler, you’ll be the hub of daily operations—balancing real-time staffing decisions with field oversight and quality assurance across the board. If you’re highly organized, quick on your feet, and comfortable making decisions under pressure, this role puts you at the center of care delivery. What You’ll Do
Build and maintain consistent client schedules.
Communicate clearly with caregivers and clients about changes.
Fill open shifts quickly and efficiently.
Manage call-offs (including last-minute) and secure coverage.
Scheduler responsible for working shifts if no coverage is found.
Daily Operations
Start your day by identifying gaps and fixing coverage issues.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and prevent overlaps.
Keep everything accurate and up-to-date by end of day.
Monitor Performance
Track attendance issues like tardiness, missed shifts, and no-shows.
Document and report on the items above weekly.
Ensure all visits are verified and compliant for payroll processing.
Address scheduling or staffing issues on the spot and follow up as needed.
Report What Matters
Submit weekly KPI reports to Office Operations Manager (open visits, call-offs, overtime, etc.) and discuss metrics with the team.
What You Bring
2 years or more of experience in scheduling, or home healthcare staffing. MUST have a background in the Healthcare field.
Strong multitasking and decision-making skills.
Ability to stay calm, professional and organized under pressure.
Tech savvy, comfortable using Microsoft word, excel, Teams, Ect. (previous experience using scheduling systems like Axis Care is a plus).
Valid driver’s license.
