The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.
We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Home Health Liaison. Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.
We currently have the following shifts available: part time, 20 hours per week.
The Home Health Liaison at The Glenview at Pelican Bay promotes and represents our home health agency, GlenCare to physicians, hospitals, senior living communities, rehabilitation centers, and other referral sources while building relationships and increasing patient referrals.
The Home Health Liaison is responsible for the following services including but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, and other referral sources.
- Educate healthcare professionals and the community about the agency's services
- Generate new referrals and meet monthly growth targets.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient intake.
- Track marketing activities, referral patterns, and outcomes.
- Represent the agency at health fairs, senior centers, and networking events.
- Actively communicates with prospective residents/guests, family members and key influencers (physician, attorney, trust officer, as appropriate) to generate sales activity required to meet sales goals. This includes frequent personal contact including but not limited to telephone calls, home or office visits, and letters.
- Keeps updated about relevant, operational, competitive, and company information in order to respond effectively to inquiries from contacts and convey community message.
- Creates new and existing strategic relationships with professional referral sources to include any forms of effective outreach.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associates degree in nursing or other health related field preferred, or equivalent experience - minimum 2 years experience working in sales/admissions position within a home health or assisted living environment.
- Understanding of home health care services and compliance requirements.
- Have an overall knowledge and comfort level with all technology associated with their position and its implementation regarding outreach strategy and communications with professionals, families, and potential residents/guests of the community.
- Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to assess and treat human injuries and diseases. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
- Knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Good visual and hearing acuity required; good verbal communication skills required. Must present a professional manner and be able to deal with situations that may be stressful.
- Excellent skill in communicating effectively in small and large groups and via the telephone.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
- Skill in forming interpersonal relationships.
- Skill in thinking creatively, problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to change tactics and strategies to meet the need of each unique prospect.
