Hiring for Lead Platform Engineer(60-80LPA)

A YC Backed Startup is hiring via Round1 AI. They are building the infrastructure that turns AI research into enterprise products. You'll own systems end-to-end backend, frontend, infra and work directly with the founders.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain backend services (Python/FastAPI, Node.js/TypeScript) powering agent orchestration and customer APIs
• Ship full-stack features — Postgres schema to Next.js UI — for internal tools and dashboards
• Own cloud infra on AWS/GCP: containers, CI/CD, observability, reliability
• Design the data plane: Postgres, Redis, job queues, event streams
• Set engineering standards as we grow the India team from 1 to 10

You should have

• Strong backend chops in Python and Node.js/TypeScrip
• Exposure to LLM systems, agent frameworks, or ML infra
• Comfort across the stack — you don't flinch at a SQL query plan or a flaky CI job
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infra (AWS or GCP)
• Degree from IIT, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, or top NIT
• Works if you are based in Bangalore, with overlap on SF hours

Good to have

• Early engineer experience at a venture-backed startup
• Production infra at scale (high RPS, multi-region, strict SLAs)
• Active open-source contributions
