Job Title: HIL Commissioning Engineer

Location: Auburn hills, MI

Job Type: Full- Time

Role:

Responsible for setup, configuration, and commissioning of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems for ECU testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and commission HIL systems (dSPACE, ETAS, NI)
• Integrate ECUs with HIL rigs and validate connectivity
• Develop and execute test cases for system validation
• Perform signal mapping, I/O configuration, and fault simulation
• Debug issues in hardware, software, and communication (CAN, LIN)
• Support automation using tools like CANoe, ControlDesk, or TestStand
• Collaborate with development and validation teams

Requirements

• Experience in HIL setup and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of ECU systems and automotive networks (CAN, UDS)
• Familiarity with tools: dSPACE / ETAS / NI / CANoe
• Basic programming/scripting (Python, C, or CAPL)
• Understanding of embedded systems

Qualification

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
