Momentum Education is a nonprofit focused on one outcome: helping first-generation, low-income students successfully transition to and complete post-secondary education that leads to a living-wage career. We do this through three core strategies: (1) SAT preparation and college readiness support, (2) College, financial aid, and enrollment advising, and (3) Ongoing post-secondary advising to help students persist and graduate

About the Role

This is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role at the center of Momentum Education’s High School Program and daily operations.

You will work directly with the Executive Director and play a key role in ensuring strong execution across schools, building systems that scale, and owning critical communications and operational outputs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, solves problems quickly, and can manage multiple priorities with strong follow-through.

What You Will Own1. High School Program Execution & Quality
  • Support and train High School Advisors on college advising and SAT prep
  • Help ensure students receive high-quality, consistent advising
  • Identify program issues quickly and solve them with urgency
  • Support execution across partner high schools
  • Step in for direct advising when needed
2. Data, Reporting & Accountability
  • Build and maintain reports for school partners through Salesforce and related systems
  • Ensure student and program data are accurate and timely
  • Track key metrics and flag concerns early
  • Use data to improve execution and outcomes
3. Communications & External Presence
  • Own weekly communications to students and educators through Mailchimp
  • Own monthly communications to alumni and volunteers through Mailchimp
  • Lead newsletters, website updates, and social media execution
  • Plan and execute webinars with college admissions and workforce partners
4. Alumni, Volunteer & Event Coordination
  • Support alumni in post-graduate needs 
  • Manage Alumni Board 
  • Onboard and engage with volunteers
  • Coordinate field trips, partner visits, and student events
5. Operations & Special Projects
  • Improve systems and processes across the organization
  • Help the Executive Director keep priorities moving forward
  • Step into urgent needs wherever required
Who You AreRequired Experience
  • Experience in education, nonprofit, advising, operations, or a related field
  • Knowledge of college admissions, FAFSA/TASFA, or post-secondary pathways
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)

Benefits: Company-provided health, vision, and dental insurance (small employee contribution required) | 10 PTO days | 11 Paid Holidays | 403(b) Retirement Plan (no company match)

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Work Model: 4 days in-person (schools or office) and 1 day remote
